Makeup Revolution | Iconic Pro Palette + Swatches // Lorac Pro Dupe
Check out Makeup Revolution's newest release - their new Iconic Pro Palette 1* which is a dead ringer for the coveted Lorac Pro (so much so, I almost wish I hadn't bought mine!). With reformulated shadows, a brush - that beauty bloggers won't hate - and a new matte finish to their packaging, Makeup Revolution have seriously shaken up the palettes we have come to love over this past year that include popular Urban Decay Naked and Too Faced Chocolate dupes. For £6.99 the palette works out at around £20 cheaper than the Lorac, at least when I bought mine from overseas. For that, Makeup Revolution comes with a bigger, better mirror, a brush (scroll down to read more) and plastic packaging vs. the Lora's small mirror and cardboard exterior. Plus, the shades are identical. I'd even go as far as saying that Makeup Revoltion may have even pipped Lorac to the post on the mattes! Could this really be the end for the high end palette?

The Iconic 1* also comes with a new dual sided brush that I can see myself using - with a fluffy ended tip that's perfect for blending and a slimmer brush that I can see myself using with wet shadows (using Makeup Revolution's Pro Fix) for either my brows (Shade 5) or as smudged and shimmery liner (Shade 16).
This is honestly my favourite beauty release not just from Makeup Revolution, but from beauty brands far and wide in a very long time. it's incredibly pigmented and versatile and contains some of the best ever shades I've seen in a palette. In fact, I think I might just have a new favourite.
