FOTD | Winged Neutral Eye [Naked 1]

I finally did it. I jumped on the bandwagon and bought the Naked 1 Palette as a present to me, from me after my exams. At £37 they're hardly cheap but I have wanted this palette for so long, I remember being fifteen, sat in my bedroom - my eyes fixed to Youtube - thinking wow, they're so pretty!

A neutral eye is pretty much my go-to so I'll definitely get the wear out of this little beauty with its range of shimmery and matte shades. This is the very first look I created with it using the colours Sin (inner corner), Half Baked (mid lid), Smog (outer lid) and Hustle and Darkhorse for the crease. Albeit a bit excessive but I was experimenting! You can easily recreate this look by working from light to dark in the order above using a larger flat shader brush for the lid and a fluffy blending brush for the crease. My go-to eye brushes at the moment are from Nanshy* I keep picking them up at various blogger meets but boy are they good.

Let me know what you think in the comments below - would you like to see some tutorials up on the blog? Obviously this is a little bit glam for every day but for events makeup is absolutely perfect! Or maybe I'm still just in the prom mood from Meadowhall!
