Review | Soap & Glory's Kick Ass Concealer

On a day-to-day basis you can pretty much guarantee that I'm toting around at least a few my makeup essentials in case I need a quick touch up or two. Soap & Glory's Kick Ass Concealer in the shade Light 001 is just that - a versatile, no fuss product that's two tier packaging comes with both a yellow and a peach tone concealer, a pressed powder with an applicator and a mirror - what more could you want beside a stick of your favorite lippy?

It's the is the kind of product that you can apply anywhere and everywhere that will instantly transform you from a tired and coffee-deprived soul into someone who at least appears to have had the eight hours beauty sleep they require to function - at least on the outside anyway! And it does this in just three magical steps.

STEP ONE - under eye brightening concealer:
The peach undertones in this concealer work brilliantly to banish under eye circles for late night study (or more likely, blogging) sessions whilst being light and creamy around the eye area. I normally use this once I have applied my favorite hydrating eye cream Simple's Brightening Eye Cream and foundation, but I find on those lazy days in which makeup seems like an unlikely possibility this works in a pinch to instantly freshen up my appearance.

STEP TWO - superwear face concealer:
Though a little yellow and dark for my uber pale skin, I find this concealer does exactly what it says on the tin - it lasts. even if i do need to apply a little of my Benefit Boi-ing Concealer on top to lighten it a little. I personally blame genetics.

STEP THREE - concealer setting powder:
Setting your concealer with powder is a bit of a new concept for me, we do it with our foundation all the time so it really does make sense to set our concealer with powder, especially when it comes to covering up blemishes. Soap & Glory's setting powder is surprisingly silky and light - almost translucent - and comes with a small powder-puff style applicator that would work wonders to set areas of breakouts, though for individual blemishes I much prefer to lightly apply the powder to my index finger.

For the bargain price of just £10 for three emergency products, Soap & Glory's Kick Ass Concealer is a must for any girl's handbag.
