Leeds Meet Up
Good afternoon beauties. If you're regular readers of my blog or you've happened to read one of my tweets this past week, you'll have gathered that I was very excited for the Beauty Bloggers Leeds Meet (#leedsmeetup) at the weekend organised by the lovely Haley from Tea Party Beauty at Patisserie Valerie!
Image from Lauren's Instagram, in my excitement I managed to photograph very little!
My OOTD consisted of: a Studded Blazer of unknown origin, White Vintage Style Dress from River Island, a Black Skater Skirt from Internacionale and some Ankle Boots from Clarkes for the slightly chilly Leeds!
This was my first beauty blogger meet up and if you've read the Pre-Leeds Meet Ramble I wrote whilst on the train, it shows! At midday I met up with a bunch of other bloggers at the station, before walking to the venue. It was slightly nerve wracking as I had only ever talked to these people on twitter and trying to guess who was who was definitely a problem! So after some brief introductions we headed off to in search of the cafe. I had a wonderful time, and I got to meet some amazing bloggers and try some tasty treats too!
White chocolate and raspberry hot chocolate, I just had to.
Complimentary lemon cheesecake - this was HUGE and I only manages about half but it was so good!
After seeing Haley's tweets the night before, we all knew we were in for some goodies but just how many I don't think any of use were ready for! There were more gift bags than there were bloggers! I think it's safe to say we all felt like Christmas had come early this year with thanks to brands like Fuel PR, Oriflame, Insitu Cosmetics, Be Trousee, Etat Pur, Andrew Barton and Search Labs! I didn't actually reach the bottom of the goody bag until I arrived home later that day!
I was also lucky enough to win a Totem Styler by Enrapture which I am so excited to try out! I promise I'll post a review up soon!
I chatted a lot to Steph from Steph's Inside Voice (you've probably heard of her amazing #theSOproject that's current going on), Lucy from The New Northener and Lisa from Little Miss Lines.

And a special thanks to Katie from Curled Fantasies for the goodies whose 100 follower giveaway I had won the night before - an amazingingly lucky coincidence!
All our goodies made the shopping a little difficult, navigating the new Leeds branch of Victoria's Secret felt more like trying to squeeze yourself into those skinny jeans you loved so much last year but are now just a little too small. But it did make us all very noticeable in the Leeds city centre! After visiting Victoria's Secret, Zara, Republic, Superdrug and Boots we were all pretty shopped out. I ended back up at the train station with the lovely Lauren from Lauren Emma to unwind over and iced smoothie.
Once again I'd like to thank Haley from Tea Party Beauty for a truley awesome time! I can't wait to meet you all again :-)
