Fall Trends #1

#1 PURPLE EYESHADOW:

I'm finding in my Youtube and internet travels that more and more people are, instead of completing the simple neutral eye with a dark brown crease as per, are using a deeper shade of purple to add some dimension to the eye. I'd definitely recommend this for GREEN EYES as the clashing colours make them really 'pop', seeming brighter, larger and draw more attention towards your eyes. You could also try applying some deep purple eyeliner or shadow to the bottom lash line.
For other eye colours, I suggest consulting the colour wheel below and choosing an eye shadow colour that opposes your natural shade. For BLUE EYES I suggest browns with burnt oranges for a smoky eyed autumnal look, or some bronze Dazzle Dust (Collection 2000 in the shade Paradise is my fave!) along, for BROWN EYES maybe a shade of royal blue eyeliner across the waterline? (MUA Superdrug £1 in the shade Royal Blue). I actually bought one last week to test before I spent any money on the more expensive brands, as it's quite unique shade, let's just say with green eyes and red hair I'm glad I didn't!

How I'm Wearing it:

I would start by opting for a dark plumb colour for a more natural look and slowly work your way up in intensity of the shadow by building it up little by little and testing out different shades.

1. Essense Beauty Victim Trio Eye Shadow in 02 All Eyes on Me
2. Make Up Academy Eye Shadow in Shade 9 - Pearl
3.Rimmel London Colour Rush Quad Eye Shadow in 002 Smokey Brun

And for those of you who prefer those brighter purples for a more striking look, please read on!

I have found the most beautiful trend of what can only be described as 'sunset eyes' which include pairing purple eye shadow with golds, blues, yellows and reds and using a large clean shader brush to blend.
